How best can we describe our current Malaysian football coaching standard
There are many ex-international and state players becoming coaches and helming positions at the various levels of the sport without any hope for the future - not even a single player under these coaches could own up to the characteristics demanded by the sport, besides many more qualities and noticeable.
We need to know and ask these coaches why are they unable to produce talents/players under their charge -from the grass-root especially, who could at least meet Asian footballing standards and ranking, as they progress to youth and senior level - why! - what are the difficulties faced in doing so?
"One thing is for sure; FAM's coaching courses practical and theoretical matters were flawed - no uniformity - different instructors applying a different method is ok...but, not by ignoring the universal fundamentals in coaching the sport"
FAM, coaching instructors and coaches have ignored many fundamental issues in the process of conducting coaching courses, team coaching, and management of national and state fa.
The sad part was they were unable to realise their weaknesses and shortfall of knowledge needed as coaches to part with within coaching and moulding talents/players as required for the current footballing standard.
"If it is not too much for me to say; coaches who are currently coaching in the MSL.MPL, National teams at all levels are not capable. Because they could not produce players with the right attributes needed to stand out and be counted" - including the coaches!
"Therefore, make sure all football coaches at the top level coaching don't easily say things about the future of the sport without a clear understanding - of your role as sports coaches/football".
- if you still do...then you must be able and ready to answer all the questions about football coaching put forward
