AFCU23 2018

Arab Saudi vs Malaysia

One interesting matter that we can expect from this match is, both the team should be playing open attacking no holds barred type of football.

Only a win for either one can secure the chance for the passage to the knock-out stage.

Whatever way we wish to describe Malaysia's fortune in this match, the fact remains the same; that Malaysia can only rely on determination more then they could technically and tactically at this level of competition, especially when playing the middle eastern teams.

The biomechanics of techniques shown in the process of play by the middle east teams are far more superior compared to East Asia with the exception of Japan and South Korea.

Malaysia is ranked 34 out of 45 in Asia and how best could they challenge the others mainly by determination alone with lacking the proper playing foundation and principles?.

The duration involved in the process of one's biomechanics can determine many actions that could and would show the superiority of the play and players in accomplishing the desired outcome.

Until then determination alone is not enough!

Time and Space!

Ranked 174; What would 2018 bring to Malaysia football

"Most obviously one thing is for sure, Malaysians are going to be glued to their TV for the 2018 FIFA world cup, forgetting temporarily all the misery and hopelessness Malaysian football provides".

As for the Malaysian football which goes into the challenges for this 2018 period, nothing much is expected or hoped which could improve Malaysian misfortune in the sport. Most are seen and will remain the same or easily gets worst - hopefully not - already ranked 174!

It is clear now that the U23 squad coached by OKS is the future team and players that will continue to take over from where the senior squad failed miserably under Vingada and TCH. These are the players and coaches who played and showed mediocre performance and capabilities in the 2017 SEA games with no alternatives left - their qualification to the AFC U23 2018 final group stage looked extremely suspicious - something tells me someone at FAM had a hand in determining the qualification even after low standard footballing abilities are shown - lacking in vision and awareness - prototype and highly questionable tactics and game plans.

"Whatever expectation we may have the reality will always remain the same. It is about the quality of our players and coaches that we have at our disposal for short and long-term football planning".

Malaysian football is constantly showing failure and hardship because everyone involved if not all are just faking and being pretentious in their role, at the same time being fully aware of it, which miserably makes it even more shameful - just look around us, we're sure to notice.

One thing seems very clear to all of us is that if not for any miracle or other element occurring, Malaysia will definitely finish last in their group at the 2018 AFC U23 - I'm very sure no Malaysian will disagree, taking into consideration the other teams in the group.

"Why is OKS still struggling as a national team coach for far too long? Why is he unable to coach and prepare a national football team that could
challenge top Asian nation and begins restoring our lost pride in the sport".

Heavy beating is imminent and in the waiting for OKS and team. Unless proved wrong with some pride restoring performance capabilities - surprise us with substance Malaysia U23!
